Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Sentio (“Sentio,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use sentio.report and related services (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have. Sentio is an informational market-sentiment tool — it is not investment advice and we never trade on your behalf or take custody of your money or accounts.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider collects your email address and, optionally, a name and username. We use this to create and secure your account and to deliver your brief.
- Watchlist and preferences. The tickers you follow, your chosen delivery edition, and whether the daily brief email is on — so we can build and deliver your brief.
- Delivery records. Which brief issues we sent you and on which tier, so we don't double-send and can help with delivery questions.
- Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by our payments provider, which acts as Merchant of Record. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not collect or store your card or banking details.
- Technical data. Standard server logs and cookies needed to keep you signed in and to operate and secure the Service.
How we use your information
- To provide the Service — build your daily brief, email it to you on trading days, and show it on the web.
- To manage your subscription and its billing state.
- To secure your account, prevent abuse, and operate the Service reliably.
- To respond to your support, billing, and privacy requests.
When we generate a sentiment read, we send the relevant ticker symbol and public market context— not your identity — to our AI provider. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted third-party providers to operate the Service — for authentication, payment processing, email delivery, AI analysis, hosting, and market data. Each may process limited data strictly on our behalf and under contract, and only as needed to deliver the Service. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention and your choices
- We keep your account data while your account is active.
- You can pause the daily brief in your account settings, or unsubscribe with one click from any email.
- You can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account by emailing support@sentio.report. We'll honor verified requests as required by applicable law.
Security
We use encryption in transit and limit access to your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to minimize what we collect in the first place.
Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the effective date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
